We wanted a place for our families from NY, PA, & NC to come together - with children ranging from 8 mos to 2.5 yrs. We thoroughly enjoyed the spacious home & local attractions incl. apple picking, cideries, fishing holes, a waterfall hike, more hikes & the Blue Ridge Mtn Maze festival with so many family-friendly events, local restaurants, and the homes outdoor spaces. It helped we had amazing fall weather, but I’m confident we would not have been TOO disappointed if we had to stay indoors. We might have gotten to all the home’s amazing amenities :)

My wife and I had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary. Everything was clean. Chris was very responsive and helpful, he’s an excellent host.
The hot tub was exceptional. We had fun playing ping pong and darts. We enjoyed quiet time on the decks reading and relaxing. It was great using the fireplace during a couple chilly nights.
We really enjoyed walking a 1/2 mile down to the Shamokin Springs trail, we highly recommend it!

This was a last minute trip for our group of 12. The weather forced our camping trip indoors and this was a perfect alternative! So much to do at the house and it has a great layout! Kitchen was stocked with all the essentials. Thanks so much for hosting us last minute!

This was the best Airbnb we have ever rented! It is a a showplace. The very best part is the screened porch with a massive hot tub, tv and sauna. The house is very spacious and well decorated. The game room with video games was a big hit as well. All essentials were included as well, from coffee, garbage bags, spices, soaps, tp etc. there was ample parking for our four cars. I would highly recommend.

I choose this house for the hottub and quiet. The showers were hot and the fans kept the place cool. The fogging mornings made the setting more peaceful and dreamlike. Close to the spa and pizza place. I loved the firepit in the table. Big house excellent for a lot of people.

The stay was exactly what the listing stated and the owner was quick to respond to our questions. They left great local recommendations and I would stay here again if I came back to the area.

We had a great stay at Chris's place. Weather wasn't great first day but didn't matter as the house has plenty of room, games, hot tub, sauna... Location in Wintergreen is great with trails easily accessible on foot for hiking, plus golf and tennis right around the corner.

This was an ideal home for our family. Wake up and make a great breakfast in the stocked kitchen. Head out for a morning hike on one of the many great trails right around the corner. Then off for a day trip to Monticello or Staunton, and finish up in the hot tub. What's not to like!?
Chris was very responsive to all our needs and put together a great welcome package to introduce us to the area.

I booked this home to celebrate my Doctoral Gradation and needed enough space to accommodate my family. This home had more than enough space! The kids loved the arcade games and the adults loved the three different levels of the home. Chris was always so responsive with every question I had and was very detailed.

Chris was an amazing host to my family of 8! He was very quick at responding on the one occasion we did need him and I can’t thank him enough. The house is tucked away at the top of the mountain and it is cozy and quiet. The outdoor game room was a huge hit for my family and we roasted s’mores in the second level outside of it each night. You can tell this is more than just an Airbnb for their family and more of a family getaway they rent out sometimes. The simple touches of a fully stocked kitchen down to the Rosemary and salmon seasoning is amazing. We can’t wait to come back and visit again!
