Wintergreen Vacation Rentals

This was an ideal home for our family. Wake up and make a great breakfast in the stocked kitchen. Head out for a morning hike on one of the many great trails right around the corner. Then off for a day trip to Monticello or Staunton, and finish up in the hot tub. What's not to like!? Chris was very responsive to all our needs and put together a great welcome package to introduce us to the area. Hope to stay again!

I booked this home to celebrate my Doctoral Gradation and needed enough space to accommodate my family. This home had more than enough space! The kids loved the arcade games and the adults loved the three different levels of the home. Chris was always so responsive with every question I had and was very detailed.

Chris was an amazing host to my family of 8! He was very quick at responding on the one occasion we did need him and I can’t thank him enough. The house is tucked away at the top of the mountain and it is cozy and quiet. The outdoor game room was a huge hit for my family and we roasted s’mores in the second level outside of it each night. You can tell this is more than just an Airbnb for their family and more of a family getaway they rent out sometimes. The simple touches of a fully stocked kitchen down to the Rosemary and salmon seasoning is amazing. We can’t wait to come back and visit again!

This was a great place to stay and would absolutely come back. My only issue is the wifi constantly going in and out, working one minute very slowly and then not working at all the next minute. I assume this is to be expected based on location to be fair. If you are looking to work from home this might be an issue like it was for me. Overall this was a great stay and would recommend!

This place was such an excellent home base for our large group of 15, which included couples, singles, a baby, many cars, and a few bikes! Excellent layout, well stocked, and very comfortable all around. Thanks for the wonderful stay, Chris!

Chris's house looked exactly like photos. The area is beautiful with lots of hiking trails and breweries and wineries nearby. The location felt very safe. Everything was exceptionally clean and the house was well stocked with everything we needed. Highly recommend.

My family and I enjoyed everything about our stay. The house was beautiful inside and out. We enjoyed the many bedrooms that fit a family of 14. Our kids enjoyed the game room and bunk beds. We shared a big brunch in the spacious kitchen with plenty of seating areas. My favorite spot was by the fire pit outside, very cozy and easy to use. The location of the house was perfect for our plans. We went tubing and the resort was nearby. Highly recommend!

Chris’ house was perfect for our ski trip. The home was convenient to the slopes, clean and very spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals and there was plenty of games in the downstairs game room to keep the kids busy when we weren’t skiing. Our host was responsive to our questions and did a great job preparing us for arrival. Great experience, would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful weekend stay with our kiddos, who all slept upstairs while we parents enjoyed the downstairs primary bedroom. The open kitchen, dining and living room areas were perfect for a family getaway, and we enjoyed the hot tub every night. Skiing was only a 10-min drive away. When there was a problem with a water main break that the town was working on, which cutoff our water access, Chris could not have been more helpful and when the repairs took longer than a few hours, he offered a partial refund, which was appreciated, especially since the issue was no fault of the owners. Altogether a great find and wonderful, responsive owners!

This rental was fantastic. It is very cozy and perfect for a family of 4 or 5. It was very clean, the beds were comfy, plenty of linens were provided, the amenities were perfect, and it's a short drive to the resort. We are looking forward to coming back in the warmer months so we can take advantage of the decks, fire pit, and screened-in game room.
