This was an ideal home for our family. Wake up and make a great breakfast in the stocked kitchen. Head out for a morning hike on one of the many great trails right around the corner. Then off for a day trip to Monticello or Staunton, and finish up in the hot tub. What's not to like!? Chris was very responsive to all our needs and put together a great welcome package to introduce us to the area. Hope to stay again!

Chris was an amazing host to my family of 8! He was very quick at responding on the one occasion we did need him and I can’t thank him enough. The house is tucked away at the top of the mountain and it is cozy and quiet. The outdoor game room was a huge hit for my family and we roasted s’mores in the second level outside of it each night. You can tell this is more than just an Airbnb for their family and more of a family getaway they rent out sometimes. The simple touches of a fully stocked kitchen down to the Rosemary and salmon seasoning is amazing. We can’t wait to come back and visit again!

This was a great place to stay and would absolutely come back. My only issue is the wifi constantly going in and out, working one minute very slowly and then not working at all the next minute. I assume this is to be expected based on location to be fair. If you are looking to work from home this might be an issue like it was for me. Overall this was a great stay and would recommend!

Chris's house looked exactly like photos. The area is beautiful with lots of hiking trails and breweries and wineries nearby. The location felt very safe. Everything was exceptionally clean and the house was well stocked with everything we needed. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful weekend stay with our kiddos, who all slept upstairs while we parents enjoyed the downstairs primary bedroom. The open kitchen, dining and living room areas were perfect for a family getaway, and we enjoyed the hot tub every night. Skiing was only a 10-min drive away. When there was a problem with a water main break that the town was working on, which cutoff our water access, Chris could not have been more helpful and when the repairs took longer than a few hours, he offered a partial refund, which was appreciated, especially since the issue was no fault of the owners. Altogether a great find and wonderful, responsive owners!

This rental was fantastic. It is very cozy and perfect for a family of 4 or 5. It was very clean, the beds were comfy, plenty of linens were provided, the amenities were perfect, and it's a short drive to the resort. We are looking forward to coming back in the warmer months so we can take advantage of the decks, fire pit, and screened-in game room.

Chris’s house was wonderful! Perfect for our family get away. Set back into the trees with a beautiful view. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

Chris’s house was great for a quick ski trip with our kids. It was very cozy and comfortable, especially in a snowstorm. We enjoyed the hot tub & fireplace. It was clean, well equipped, and furnished and decorated well with a clean and cozy aesthetic.

The house was beautiful with an awesome game room and outdoor space. Everything was clean and the house instructions were clear. Chris was very responsive and a great host. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone planning a trip in the Wintergreen area.

Chris’s cabin was a wonderful place to stay during our tennis tournament. It’s kitted out with fun games down stairs and a hot tube. While the cabin does not have A/C, Chris provides access to lots of fans and the cabin has a lot of shade around it. Chris is very responsive and helpful.
